About this Site



Getting Ready for Algebra Online was created through a California Math Science Partnership (CaMSP) Grant with support from the San Diego County Superintendents’ Achievement Gap Task Force.

The program is designed for teachers of mathematics at grades 4 through 7 and intervention level.

Program Objectives:
  • Increase teacher content knowledge in Algebra-related mathematics
  • Provide standards-aligned lesson plans
  • Highlight exemplary classroom practices
  • Feature strategies for working with English Learners and students with special needs
  • Accelerate student achievement
