Getting Ready for Algebra provides lessons that specifically address the California mathematics content standards, helping fill the gaps and prepare students for successful completion of Algebra I. These lessons focus on building student knowledge of our rational number system. Throughout these lessons, Algebra concepts such as addition and multiplication properties, graphing, evaluations, translations, and problem solving are woven into the content. Each lesson is accompanied by additional student and teacher materials to successfully implement the lesson.
